Nope. I have no idea what happened there. I'm pretty sure Matt handed it to someone else while I was talking to him. We were all pretty tire and out of it by then. I'll find a new one (and never let it out of my sight again).

Sorry about crashing the sketching. Really it was Matt's fault for pawning us off on him.

Rick was drawing a Fear Agent sketch in my sketchbook right before you guys interrupted him with this interview. He was going to ink it to until you guys showed up...Thanks a lot Adam! ;) From what I overheard it was another fun Dollar Bin interview!

btw - did your copy of the Order #1 ever show up?

We did, but not really with any audio recorded. We've already spoken with him so much so recently and with the panels he was on there wasn't really too much to share. We have spoken with him about another phone thing in the future when there is new stuff to talk about.

black lightning year one is the answer. i think.

Cully Hamner is a current member of gaijin studios but the illustrator of Black Lightning

Adam Hughes is a former member of gaijin but the writer of all star wonder woman.

So i think the question was phrased wrong. Or I am misinfomed.

Sheesh guys...you were supposed to go to the interview pages to reply about the trivia and to win the prizes.

But anyway screw it because you are all here and all right so let's just move on with the freebies!

1) Andrew you are correct because Jimmy actually mentions 2 non-comic movies and that is one of them just not the one we joked about. I'll toss in an extra Cho flavored prize if you can tell me the other movie as well.

2) Matt you are correct it was Matt Wagner. I did talk to Matt Wagner the next day but we did not get any audio from him at Heroes, the timing just wasn't good for either of us. However, we hope to have a feature interview with him (and possibly his son as well) after the San Diego Con so keep and eye out for that!

3) Stephen, that was an attempt at a trick question and you knocked it out of the park. Hughes is a former member of Gaijin that is writing and drawing All-Star WW and Hamner is a current studio member but he is just drawing and not writing BLYO which I mispoke about. So you killed that question even with my mistakes.

So everyone that won please send your shipping info to brian @ thedollarbin.net and I'll send your prizies out to you! And to everyone else, don't worry we have a box full of cool stuff we'll be giving away this month from Heroes Con so there will be more chances to win soon.

Alright I am probably wrong with this answer but here it goes.

All Star Wonder Woman with Adam Hughes as the writer.
The only thing about that is that he is no longer current member of Gaijin.

There is also Black Lightning with Cully Hamner, but he is not the writer but he is a current member of Gaijin.

Mystery Men is by definition the movie that makes you American...plus you can get it for like five bucks so that makes it all the more awesome!!! LONG LIVE "THE SPLEEN" Mystery Men was loosly based on Flaming Carrot Comics so it wasn't a made up Hollywood Superhero Movie. I've heard Wanted is awesome but I probably won't see it in the theatre but Hancock and Hellboy II I will see and I think both will be great.

Fellas I gotta say that I feel more stupid now that I've read Final Crisis #2 than I ever was before. The only thing I understand is that there is a guy named Libra and he's gathering the Bad Guys to do something bad. I feel like Final Crisis is like a confused Vietnam vets Flashback and its Fuckin' Killin' my brain.

PS I 've got too many podcast to catch up on to go back and try to win the contest but I did listen to them all and I wanted to say your panel recordings were some of the best panel recordings I've ever hear you could actually understand what people were saying all the way through...great job...I'm still waiting for the Air Supply cover album.

This was very good. All four guys seemed to enjoy themselves and want to talk and that certainly isn't the case with every panel. Marvel was mentioned a lot but it would have been nice to actually have someone from Marvel there to join the discussion. Maybe next year...

I guess I'm one of the few who actually liked his art. His supergirl was awesome (he knew how to draw a female, thats for sure). He was in my top 5 favorite artists and I'm going to miss him.

Easily my favorite episode of the Dollar Bin.

I would have listened to this if it was 3 hours long.

Personally, I'd like more shows like this.
Sitting around, bullshitting and talking comics.
I don't really need themed shows.
As long as ya'll talk about what you're reading, what you got this week and why you like or hate it....

It's all good with me.

btw. Patricia Farinelli, Karen Price, Gig Gangle and Jacqueline Sheen ftw.

Wow, only 37 years old and with so much in his life. But cancer really doesn't give a shit about any of that does it?

This is the second summer in a row that a star artist has passed during convention season and in both cases the majority of the tributes you will read or hear deal with how much people liked the PERSON more than what people had to say about the artwork they produced. And I think both times that is what makes the news so very sad.

RIP Mike
