Heroes Con 08 - Jimmy Palmiotti

conventions Recently at the Heroes Convention Adam was able to coerce Rachelle into interviewing Jimmy Palmiotti (Jonah Hex) with him. There is also a small background “appearance” by Amanda Conner (I, Adam, am so pissed I didn’t get a chance to chat with her). It is just as good as you’d guess. Enjoy.

Dude, Adam, I can hear you eye-humping Jimmy's live-in girlfriend that entire interview. Don't you think that's at least slightly disrespectful?
Still, good interview. Palmiotti is a work-horse. I got to see him at Wizard World Philly and he's a lot of fun but you can tell he knows how to do a days work.

I'd love to see her do a Jonah Hex issue.
Hey, that wasn't bad at all! I think Palmiotti is an easy interview because he's so funny and chatty. Plus, I could talk about Jonah Hex all day.
I fear for the Jason Aaron interview because I could barely hear what he was saying to me (over Matt Fraction's nonsense).
Adam, you mentioned the issue of Jonah Hex that got you to start reading it regularly. Do you remember which issue that was?
I shouldn't even be asking this since I can barely afford my current pull list.
Here is a link to Rachelle's review of the issue. I think it may actually take at least 2 issue to get hooked. Either that or it was in fact this issue that did it.

I kinda like the new Hex series, but it's so dark and mean spirited that I kinda hate it at the same time.
I would highly advise picking up the DC Showcase Jonah Hex collection.
It's so good.
