Priest's a legitimately nice guy, even when he talks about disagreements with other creators -- and comes across much more cheerful in the interview than he usually does (did?) on his blog.

I'm happy to hear he's testing the waters for a return to comics, and I'd love to see Quantum and Woody again.

I'd also love to hear more from him, so here's hoping you guys get him back in the studio for another chat.

I've never read his Steel run, so given his endorsement of it I'm going to have to put it on the list. Hoping the trade situation for those is better than Black Panther or Quantum and Woody...

Nick Marino comments on Interview: Pia Guerra

man, another killer interview!!!! I loved the Spider-titles in the 80's and I really enjoyed listening to Priest break down the 4th wall and explain the biz.

Well done Dollar Bin.

Adam Daughhetee comments on Interview: Christopher Priest Part 2

Well... That was the final part of the interview. We have some stuff I'd cut out that was really us just taking a break and chatting a bit that may see the light of day if we ever get our members only section up. However, as far as substance that's it. We talked with him for over 3 hours, but when I edit I cut out all of the uh, um, you knows, and whatnots, so that can really trim things down as far as final time goes. Its hard to predict. Sorry, but we may try to hook up again with him in the not too distant future.

Kilmarock comments on Interview: Christopher Priest Part 2

Great job. Loved it. Great interview with some real depth to it, which touched on both the fiction writing and real world experiences (in the comic book industry) of Christopher Priest. I look forward to hearing the final part of the interview. Please don't make us wait 2 weeks for it.

Graffiti on the Sun comments on Interview: Christopher Priest Part 2

That was a great interview you guys. Loved it. I've read most of the stuff talked about in this episode except for Quantum and Woody and Steel. NOT FOR LONG THOUGH! They're both getting read now cause I'm psyched up for em after listening.

DeeSnider comments on Interview: Christopher Priest Part 2

Really loved these two shows, some of the most enjoyable yet. I was always familiar with the names Christopher Priest and Jim Owlsley, but I don't think I've read anything by him. I'm definately interested in checking out those Black Panther and Steel runs and some Quantum and Woody now. I'll be looking for back issues at WonderCon next month.

joel comments on Interview: Christopher Priest Part 2

Actually the times line up pretty closely. I remember looking at skype and seeing 3 hours and 16 minutes when I closed it . The last 45 minutes were a mixture him asking us questions and discussion of upcoming works that he wants kept secret for a while. So Adam waved his magic wand over the whole thing (just sounds dirty) and cut that out. So subtracting the mysterious 45 minutes we actually only trimmed 15 minutes of recording and that was mainly my messing up by coughing, stuttering, and stammering. The last 45 was really good stuff but until he announces those projects I think part 3 might be waiting a while darnit as I want to hear it as badly as everyone else.
