Great interview. Btw, I have a xerox of those eight heads that were done for the PBS Historical Special. Great job. I'd love to see the original pencilling before Dick inked it. On the "Shooter Years", I was working at Marvel as an inker at the time that Jim Shooter thought he knew everything about inking. It made my life hell and shot my confidence out the window. The man could not articulate himself very well. I focused a lot more on drawing my own stuff to ink, though.

You guys didn't know about the Supergirl movie?! It wasn't exactly a blockbuster, but it came out in 1984 and starred Helen Slater as Supergirl.
According to wikipedia, she was also in Ruthless People and The Secret of My Success as well as playing one of Jerry's girlfriend's on Seinfeld (Good Samaritan episode). For Smallville fans, she played Clark's biological mother - Lara.

Ted, it wasn't intended to be a joke, but it all just fell into place and was too good to pass up. If you read in the thread I don't see the big deal. I figured it was a pretty good lead in to the discussion.

Joel, You'll notice that though I say it in the show it is most definitely not in the title.

I had a lot of fun doing that and actually cut about 45 minutes of other books we talked about.

Just finished up. Great show guys. This is the kind of stuff I love. Poor taste on the Kirsten Dunst joke (but excellent execution).

Shawn, just note that it is now my life's mission to steal a FCBD book from one of Heroes' dollar boxes at some point.
