When we first met and interviewed Chris Schweizer at Free Comic Book Day in 2008, his talent and enthusiasm immediately had us sold on his series The Crogan Adventures. Once the awesomeness of Crogan’s Vengeance hit shelves and our hands the anticispation of his next book, titled Crogan’s March, burned even brighter. So as we made our rounds at Fluke 2009, we had to stop at Chris’s table for a preview of what he had in store for us next.

Frequent listeners to the Dollar Bin are well aware of our love for Andy Runton and his work. So it should be no surprise that we found ourselves parked in front of the Top Shelf table several times during Fluke 2009. In between the group buying a few of his books and Adam getting an awesome “Owly As” done, we even managed to chat with him about what he has been up to and what’s next for Owly.

We’re back and we are kicking things off with Shawn talking about her trip to the annual Borderlands Comics and Games sale. She talks hanging out with J Chris Campbell and picking up a few comics along the way.
Since the day we met Jim Rugg at Heroes Aren't Hard to Find as part of the Afrodesiac tour, he has been a favorite of the Dollar Bin. It is funny to realize that over the last 8 or so years, this is the first Dollar Bin vs Jim Rugg interview.
