HeroesCon 09 Jeff Smith and Alec Longstreth Panel

photo by Dustin HarbinWith over 2 million copies of his creation Bone in print, and his new RASL series well underway, Jeff Smith may need no introduction. Alec Longstreth on the other hand, is somewhat less well-known, but is surely on the way to Smith-ian accomplishments. So who better to introduce you to him than Jeff Smith? And introducing the both of them will be the panel moderator, Heroes Con’s Creative Director Dustin Harbin.

Thanks, but other than setting a few mics on a table, hitting record and, mixing it all down I did nothing. The quality of that panel belongs to Dusty, Jeff, and Alec.

I think of this as less of standard panel and more like a great conversation that we got to listen in on. And I think Heroes Con always does a nice job in having this style and your standard fare every year.

It was interesting to hear the reason behind Alec's extraordinary, planet-devouring beard.

This was awesome...seriously, who doesn't fucking love Jeff Smith?

Wish I'd been able to get my Bone Omnibus signed though...
